What’s in our beauty travel bag #PushBEAUTYrecommends

Sophie Outram, Junior Beauty Account Executive at Push, knows the score when it comes to beauty essentials – especially those needed when you’re constantly on the move.

Always forget about the minis? The right mascara? The travelling toothbrush? Fear not, here’s an edit of beauty product that comes highly recommended from our girl.

Over my years of travelling to and from university, and now living between London and Kent, I have found some brilliant space saving tricks when it comes to packing – and not going over my baggage allowance.

I have spent the past few months putting together a lighter, secondary makeup kit so that whenever I leave London I can leave the bulk of my skincare, makeup and even straighteners behind knowing that I already have everything I need back home. So, for those constantly back and forth between places here are a few multipurpose products I swear by.

REMOVAL For great product that really works, and comes without the heavy packaging, I adore the Simple Moisturising Facial Wash.

REGIME I love toners but so many of them come in big bottles not suitable for traveling. For a refreshing spritz first thing, and as a pick me up throughout the day, I use the 50ml version of Avène’s Thermal Water Spray – it’s functional, softening and soothing. Moisturisers and primers are probably the easiest products to slim down on when on the move as there are so many amazing versions on the market. One of my favourites is the Haute Custom Beauty Fluid Supreme which has a luxurious velvet texture and leaves the skin with a semi-matte finish. Otherwise, if you prefer a hydrating oil, the 10ml By Sarah London Facial Oil is packed with natural ingredients that will leave your skin feeling really healthy, and it also works as a primer underneath your makeup.

FACE If you prefer something more matte and with full coverage I would suggest the Revlon PhotoReady stick foundation, it works brilliantly with a damp sponge as both a concealer and foundation. For something lighter try the Maybelline Eraser Concealer, it has a really creamy texture and a beautiful finish that works well when you blend it out from the center of the face.

CHEEKS A great option for combined blush, eye makeup and lipstick are the NARS Multiples – my favourite shades are Malibu, Cappadoce, and Portofino. For highlighter and bronzer I adore the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette.

EYES I can’t go anywhere without eyeliner and eyebrows and I love the 3INA Eyebrow Marker and the Revlon Colourstay Liquid Liner which are both slim and compact. Lastly my favourite mascara right now comes in a miniature format; the Lancome Monsieur Big Mascara is both lengthening and volumising and I don’t feel the need to layer it up with any other mascaras.
