It’s set to reach 27 degrees today for a reason, it’s World Bikini Day.
Exactly 71 years ago today French engineer and designer Louis Réard debuted the bikini for the first time empowering post-war women with the stylish, scandalous two-piece.
Push relaunched the luxury swimwear brand in May this year working to retell the incredible story and showcase the SS17 collection, designed by Creative Director Celine Adler. It is classic, contemporary and above all it is flattering.
Check out this short film featuring Parisian DJ, and Réard woman, Inès Mélia for a glimpse of the iconic newspaper print style (best worn with a beret and shades) and keep tabs on the Réard Paris Instagram account all day to see how the brand is marking the occasion. Spoiler: offering up the chance to win a bikini for that last minute getaway you’re yet to book.
