Behind the scenes with 18 AND EAST!

The only thing getting the Push PR girls up this early on a Saturday morning was the 18 AND EAST photoshoot for their Sping Summer 12 collection! Armed with black coffee and large sunnies we popped along to give a helping hand and take some behind the scenes, first look photos of what was going on (and of course just be nosy) at the Kingsland road studios!

The collection is so beautiful and we know you all love to see a photoshoot in action, so we’ve decided to share with you our sneaky snaps, becuase that’s just the kind of people we are!

First up though was the make up! It wouldn’t be a photoshoot without a gorgeous model, make up artist and photographer and this was no exception!

Make up artist, Deborah Lott was busy working her magic on the beautiful model Ria Foster-Orr and we got involved by painting her nails and ourselves in the process and playing tea lady.

Even though Deborah had finished making Ria look even more the beauty queen than she already did, she then moved on to giving us all her best hair and beauty tips (we’re now experts at back combing!) then Photographer Alex Lambrechts got to work!

Here is what was used as inspiration to get the shoot underway!

Ria shows us how it’s done…

A quick touch up here and there is always essential!

The 18 and east girls showed us their finest poses also!

The shoot was very Mulberry-esque with lots of candy colour back drops and even a few lolly pops! Sadly no dogs though but still clearly taking inspiration from the SS12 catwalks we all saw at fashion week.

It was a really fun day, but not all play, lots of hard work involved too! (modelling really isn’t that easy!) The shots that we saw and snaps we took look amazing so we really can’t wait to see the final images! We hope you’re as excited as we are!
