label reflects on Carmen's time spent in Ravenna, Italy, where she
worked as a fashion designer. She drew inspiration from the intricate
Byzantine mosaics, which covered the city's buildings and walkways,
eventually using patch work and pleating techniques to express this
through her designs. Living in Ravenna, Carmen experienced Italian
craftsmanship and leatherwork firsthand, whilst designing in fashion
studios. Learning how to handle and manipulate beautiful leather, she
now applies these techniques today to her collection.
