GET MOVING with Power Plate for Sport Relief

Being active has become such an essential part of our lives. Whether you’re prepping for a marathon or practicing balance between mind & soul, 2019 was THE year which kicked the ‘active lifestyle’ up the Hot List chart.

Beyond helping us to regain strength, mobility and, let’s be honest, a bit of our sanity, being active should also be about giving back. This year, the global leader in whole body vibration training equipment, Power Plate, will be hosting a MEGA Power Plate Fitness Studio on the 10th March, a stone’s throw away from King’s Cross, to GET YOU MOVING for Sport Relief.

Sport Relief is an inspiring charity which tackles a number of social issues across the UK and worldwide. Therefore, it only seemed fitting that the global Power Plate brand take part in raising awareness.

The one-of-a-kind fitness studio will be open for one day only, with a number of live classes hosted by the Power Plate trainers themselves:
. BURN – a HITT class that improves cardio performance, trains the heart and just makes you feel great!
. STRONG – a full body workout designed to improve physical strength and conditioning
. X – a boot-camp style class, utilising a suspension and dumbbells, or kettlebells, which is an intense blend of strength, cardio and functional training for the fitness junkies that want a challenging workout
. ZEN – a recovery class incorporating yoga-inspired poses, Power Plate massage and more traditional vibration-assisted stretching and mobilisation

Whether you’re a trained fitness junkie, or just looking to enjoy a day getting a sweat with friends, the Power Plate studio will be open to ALL active levels. It’s not about how far you get, it’s about what you achieve during.

You can view the full class schedule here. Tickets are £15 per person, with ALL proceeds being donated to Sport Relief
