Meet the new #PushBEAUTY team member, Hattie Bence

The season is off to an exciting start as we are excited to be welcoming Hattie Bence to the #PushBEAUTY team! We sat down with Hattie to find out all about her favourite beauty trends, brands and more …

Tell us about your professional background and what are you looking forward to bringing to Push?

After having graduated with a degree in English Literature I went straight into my first job in a luxury beauty & lifestyle PR agency. I then spent two years getting to grips with the world of PR and subsequently moved to Push PR as a Senior Account Executive. I love to be creative through language and will look to ensure my positivity always shines through my work!

What are you most excited about at the moment in the beauty industry?

I’ve always been such a fan of the dewy complexion and I’m loving the trend for ‘glass’ skin throughout the beauty industry. Aside from this, it’s so exciting to see how the rise of K-beauty has inspired many other countries to champion their own individual approaches to skincare, such as G & J-Beauty. It’ll be interesting to see how beauty & geography become further intertwined in the future!

Your favourite beauty brand and what are the three beauty products that you could not live without?

I’ve always been a huge fan of the Caudalie range, I love how lightweight and hydrating their products are, especially for sensitive skin. The go-to products in my makeup bag have to be my Nars bronzer, my Delilah foundation and my Bobbi Brown pot rouge!

Who is your absolute beauty icon?

It has to be Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. She always looks so flawless and perfects the old-school glamour look, as well as channeling the classic English rose.

We’re moving into autumn/winter now – how do you transition your beauty routine over different seasons?

Well I’ve just come back from Greece and after a full 10 days of sunshine, my skin desperately needs hydration. I’m incorporating a facial oil into my nighttime routine and have had to use some Custom Drops to adapt my foundation shade – though I can already feel my tan fading (isn’t that just the worst feeling?!). As my highlights from the sun begin to fade too, I usually turn to a blonde lightening shampoo & conditioner to keep my hair looking golden.

Bold or natural lip?

Natural lip. You can always rely on Charlotte Tillbury for a classic nude, I also love Huda Beauty’s Liquid Matte Lipstick in Venus which has amazing staying power.

Favourite place to go on holiday and favourite travel essentials?

Bali is my absolute dream destination and I can’t wait to revisit! I’m forever dreaming of its acai bowls and sunsets … In terms of travel essentials, I always make sure I have under-eye patches for the flight to reduce any puffiness (hello Patchology!) and I also decant some of my beloved Kerastase hair oil, to stop my hair from completely drying out in the heat. Before my holiday, I always ensure I get my lash extensions done, as being naturally blonde means I can’t get away with wearing no mascara!

Welcome to the team Hattie!

Push x
