Nafisah Boateng has joined the Push jewellery division as Junior Account Manager. We chatted with Nafisah to quiz her on trends she loves at the moment, favourite VIP placements she’s achieved and what tv shows to binge watch at the moment!
What is your professional background and what do you want to bring to the table at the Push Jewellery division?
I’ve worked in the PR industry for the past 5 and a half years. From fashion to beauty and now jewellery. Most recently I spent 2 and a half years working on PR and VIP at a boutique jewellery and watch specialist agency.
I’m really looking forward to using my knowledge to help develop the jewellery division. I’m ambitious and passionate about what I do, so for me it’s exciting to be creative, secure great coverage and have fun whilst doing it! I enjoy VIP and working with stylists, so I’m hoping to achieve more great placements at Push.
What has been your favourite VIP placement you’ve achieved so far?
Ah, that’s a hard one! I have a few magical moments I’m proud of which include: Dua Lipa, Jourdan Dunn, Katy Perry and Letitia Wright.
What is your favourite trend at the moment?
Statement earrings. I am obsessed with hoops – the bigger the better! Statement earrings were everywhere during London Fashion Week last month, and I love the way you can dress them up and down.
Gold or silver jewellery?
Most definitely gold! My sister bought me a pair of silver Tiffany earrings as a gift, and I’ve literally never worn them (sorry sis!)
Definitely have to be hoops. I was gifted a pair by an old client, and I’ll cherish them forever! I also love big coats and I can’t wait to get out my faux fur’s when it starts getting colder.
What series are you watching at the moment?
I just finished binge watching Bodyguard (yes, I was late to the show!). I also love Insecure, Jane the Virgin and I’m patiently waiting for the next season of Power.
Your favourite place to go on holiday?
Hard to choose! I love visiting family in New York and California. I had the best time in Vegas and I love Paris, but my heart is definitely in Ghana! You can’t beat hot weather, road trips and discovering the amazing culture.
Welcome to the team Nafisah!
