Sarah Mikaela, the writer, stylist and photographer behind Framboise Fashion, has collaborated with Push client SACET to design a wearable jewellery collection – her debut – that references Danish/Australian roots and inimitable style.
The Wave collection consists of three pairs of hoop earrings, two rings and a bangle; the vibe being architectural, coastal, classic with a nod to contemporary best seen across the large wave hoops with unique ripple effect and textured finish. These are the ones you’re about to see all over Instagram.
While Sarah has flexed her art and design background, SACET has employed its skill for fine metal manipulation to create an understated collection made with ethical materials that is very easy on the eye.
“Designing this collection for SACET has been an absolutely amazing opportunity, and I’ve completely fallen for their work. Knowing how they create with such integrity and focus on supporting people, planet and profit, I feel very proud to be able to work with such an inspiring and innovative brand.
“Looking back to my first sketches and ideas to wearing the final product, the whole process has just been so eye opening. I hope that you will enjoy my range as much as me!”
SACET, Sanskrit for consciousness, launched in August 2017 and works by partnering with new and existing design talent in the jewellery industry to mentor and create an accessible platform that prides itself on ethical and conscious craftsmanship. Collections are all collaboratively designed, made in SACET’s own workshop (a safe, supportive space for locally trained experts) and inclusively priced.
