How did you end up working at PUSH?
I essentially hung around the office until they gave me a job, just kidding (kind of). I’m a fashion blogger (I have my own blog but am better known for working as Editor for Vauxhall Fashion Scout) – so I was on their blogger database and worked closely with the team leading me to build a really good working – and social – relationship with everyone. Then a position became available last month and it seemed like the perfect next step.
Most memorable moment at PUSH?
Despite only working here for a month, I’ve been chucked in at the deepend and have already experienced S/S13 press days as well as countless events – but to be honest, I wouldn’t have it any other way! Most memorable moment is probably just the realisation of how settled I felt as soon as I started working here.
3 pieces of advice for budding PR’S?
1. Start your own blog and dedicate time to it each week – it will pay off.
2. Use as many social media websites as possible and interact with PRs, designers, bloggers and journalists
3. Eat, sleep, breathe fashion – an extensive fashion knowledge is always impressive.
Describe a perfect weekend, 3 words…
Shopping, shots and sleep.
Your biggest pinch yourself moment?
Every LFW, it’s like being transported to a magical world where only fashion exists.
If PUSH could represent any brand in the world, who would you choose?
Eudon Choi, I’ve always loved his designs – so sleek and chic, I do love a strong silhouette – and as an VFS alumni I’ve got a soft spot for him.
Who are you most inspired by in the fashion industry?
