Meet The Team: Digital Account Executive Cass Gowing

Cass Gowing Push PR London

For the next two weeks, we’re giving you an exclusive insight into the Push PR  London team across Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. We’re starting off with the newest member of the team, Digital Account Executive Cass Gowing.

Wardrobe staple?

Tailored blouse and structured jacket for A/W12.

How did you end up working at PUSH?

I essentially hung around the office until they gave me a job, just kidding (kind of). I’m a fashion blogger (I have my own blog but am better known for working as Editor for Vauxhall Fashion Scout) – so I was on their blogger database and worked closely with the team leading me to build a really good working – and social – relationship with everyone. Then a position became available last month and it seemed like the perfect next step.

Most memorable moment at PUSH?

Despite only working here for a month, I’ve been chucked in at the deepend and have already experienced S/S13 press days as well as countless events – but to be honest, I wouldn’t have it any other way! Most memorable moment is probably just the realisation of how settled I felt as soon as I started working here.

3 pieces of advice for budding PR’S?

1. Start your own blog and dedicate time to it each week – it will pay off.

2. Use as many social media websites as possible and interact with PRs, designers, bloggers and journalists

3. Eat, sleep, breathe fashion – an extensive fashion knowledge is always impressive.

Describe a perfect weekend, 3 words…

Shopping, shots and sleep.

Your biggest pinch yourself moment?

Every LFW, it’s like being transported to a magical world where only fashion exists.

If PUSH could represent any brand in the world, who would you choose?

Eudon Choi, I’ve always loved his designs – so sleek and chic, I do love a strong silhouette – and as an VFS alumni I’ve got a soft spot for him.

Who are you most inspired by in the fashion industry?

Hilary Alexander.

Any style secrets?

Incorporate any trend into your own personal style.

Clothes or cosmetics?

CLOTHES of course!
