Get the Trend Series: Choker Me
The penultimate in our Get the Trend series sees our Social Media Intern Nicki, take a stab at the statement jewellery trend that is collars and chokers. Designers such as Valentino, Elie Saab and Yves Saint Laurent, all ‘choked’ their models, whilst others such as Donna Karan and D&G took a softer approach, introducing the collar to the accessories table. Nicki chose the softer approach for her look, favouring collars.

Love Nicki’s softer approach to the trend, gold chain mail collar over a sheer shirt? That’s so clever!!!! I will definitely try this out for myself, or even DIY one! I will be taking the Donna Karren approach-pearl choker! Pearls are making a big comeback this fall, simply wrap one long one around your neck or layer up several different ones.
