We love a bit of Vintage at Push PR and with the Vintage at Southbank event taking place this weekend (29^th - 31^st July, to be precise) it’s sent us into more of a frenzy.  It seems like us Brits have gone a little Vintage crazy of late, with vintage fairs and festivals popping up all over the shot.  Goodwood, Twinwood, Judy’s Afforable Vintage Fair are a few we can think of right this second.

Next month will see the tenth annual Twinwood Festival, regarded by many as the number one vintage music and dance festival.  They plan on trying to break a World Record this year to celebrate 10 years; they want to break the record for the largest swing dance.  If we were to break a record, we’d want to make the worlds biggest Macaroon.  Just saying.

We held out own little vintage ‘fair’ a few weeks ago with our clients 18 AND EAST, Tara Starlet and Gigi Vintage.  It was a lovely evening with baked goods, the finest fashions from years gone by and we even had our own pin up babe, Sinead Quinn, who came to sing and schmooze with the guests.

Vintage at Goodwood, sandly, was cancelled this year but instead we got Vintage at Southbank, which will no doubt be riddled with celebrities.  Without a doubt, amongst the bunch would have been some Peekaboo Vintage garments.  Celebrities such as Claudia Schiffer, Billie Piper and Fearne Cotton frequent the boutique when they want a blast from the past.  We spotted Billie in the Peekaboo Vintage store on Ganton Street yesterday, picking out some new vintage pieces, she’s such a doll!
